This Photograph was made by my friend Joy. Observe the delightful composition Joy has created. The position of the horizon, the curves in the river, the slopes of the hills and valleys make this a scene you can almost walk right into. This is the sort of picture that fires the imagination with thoughts of what might be just over the next rise. Sure the scene existed like you see it, but if Joy had stood in a different spot, shot the scene from a different angle, or chosen a different focal length for the lens. The result could have been very different; perhaps not as pleasing. Seeing the scene before the button is pressed is one of the main talents that photographers bring to there efforts. This scene was shot on ISO 400 speed negative film, but Joy scanned this picture from her print
