Simple 35MM camera:
I have an assortment of simple cameras; I use them often. As I said in my article on "Seeing",
seeing the scene you want and going for it is, in my opinion, the most important part of
getting a good picture. I’ve shown this one, though it's not a current model, in particular
because it has a couple of closely related features I value. First, it’s small, it carries
without taking up lots of room. It is also designed so you can hold it without putting your
fingers over something vital like the flash or the lens. I’ve seen lots of great potential
pictures go awry because the person taking the picture had (a) finger(s) over something that
was needed to take the picture. Unfortunately there are many cameras in the world that are hard
to hold at all without having a finger over something it shouldn’t be over. So, as you look
around to purchase your next camera pick one up and see if, when you hold it in the way that
seems natural to you, you have fingers over something needed to take the picture before
you buy it.
